1. Policy Statement
Candy Care Group is committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in all areas of our operations and supply chains. We uphold the highest standards of ethical conduct and compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015. We do not tolerate any form of slavery, forced labour, or human trafficking within our business or in our dealings with suppliers, contractors, and partners.
2. Scope of the Policy
This policy applies to:
- All employees, contractors, and agency workers engaged by Candy Healthcare
- All third parties who supply goods or services to Candy Healthcare
3. Our Commitments
Candy Healthcare will:
- Conduct risk assessments of our business and supply chains to identify potential modern slavery risks
- Carry out appropriate due diligence on suppliers, especially those operating in high-risk sectors or countries
- Require suppliers and contractors to confirm compliance with anti-slavery principles
- Include anti-slavery clauses in relevant contracts
- Provide training to staff to help them identify and report signs of modern slavery
- Take appropriate action if any breach of this policy is identified, including terminating business relationships if necessary
4. Responsibilities
- Management: Responsible for ensuring this policy is implemented and reviewed regularly.
- Employees: Must read, understand, and comply with this policy. Any concerns regarding modern slavery must be reported immediately to a line manager or the HR department.
- Suppliers and Contractors: Are expected to comply with this policy and to adopt similar principles in their own operations and supply chains.
5. Reporting Concerns
Employees or third parties who suspect modern slavery or human trafficking should report their concerns confidentially to:
- Their manager
- The HR department
- The anonymous reporting channel (if applicable)
All concerns will be taken seriously and investigated appropriately. There will be no retaliation against individuals who report concerns in good faith.
6. Monitoring and Review
This policy will be reviewed annually and updated as required to ensure ongoing compliance with legislation and best practice. We are committed to continuous improvement in our efforts to combat modern slavery.
